Our History
SS Horvath Travel was founded in 2022 when Suzy & Steve Horvath moved to St. James, North Carolina. However, we have a long history in the travel industry, previously operating under the name Tancill Travel.
Tancill Travel was founded in 1994 in Atlanta, GA by Sue Tancill as a travel agency specializing in cruises. Sue had always loved cruising and when her friends and family kept asking for advice, she thought starting this boutique-style specialty travel agency would meet a growing need for expertise in the cruising industry. Sue’s daughter Suzy took over the business in January 2017 after working in the business for many years. Suzy and her agents have maintained the same personalized touch over the years.
Today, SS Horvath Travel has expanded to also include adventure travel, all-inclusive and hotel resorts, small ship and expedition travel. SS Horvath Travel specializes in active and luxury adventures and they specialize in travel insurance to meet all your travel needs.
